Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Primary TA) to support a welcoming primary school in Walton-le-Dale.
This role is ideal for a qualified Teaching Assistant (TA), Learning Support Assistant (LSA), or Classroom Assistant looking to work within KS1 and KS2 primary education.
The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning across a primary school classroom (KS1 & KS2)
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics
- Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and pupil confidence
- Helping create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive primary learning environment
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a primary school setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, proactive, and child-centred approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
