Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Nottinghamshire.
In this role you will take full ownership of a housing patch, managing tenancies end-to-end while delivering a proactive, customer-focused service that balances tenancy sustainment.
Duties:
- Manage a local housing patch, monitoring tenancies and ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements
- Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour, including enforcement action where required
- Support vulnerable tenants by providing advice, making referrals, and helping to sustain tenancies
- Maintain accurate case records and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in housing management or tenancy/estate services within a social housing or local authority setting
- Experience handling tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour casework and enforcement processes
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and making appropriate safeguarding or support referrals
- Experience liaising with multi-agency partners such as police, social care, legal services, and housing providers
What's on offer:
Salary: £20+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
