Position Overview:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across all age groups within our school. From assisting with classroom activities to providing one-on-one support, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for supporting the educational development and well-being of children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional needs or special educational requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement school policies and procedures effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
