Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Bournemouth.
In this role you will manage a housing patch, handling tenancy, estate management and complex housing issues including anti-social behaviour and safeguarding.
Duties:
- Manage a designated neighbourhood patch, delivering day-to-day tenancy and estate management services
- Investigate and resolve housing issues including anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, fraud, and safeguarding concerns
- Work with residents, colleagues, and partner agencies to support complex cases and improve housing outcomes
- Prepare casework, legal documentation, and reports, including attendance at court and multi-agency meetings when required
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience of working in front-line housing management, including tenancy and leasehold casework
- Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns, and complex resident issues
- Experience managing a varied caseload and prioritising competing demands in a busy environment
- Experience working with the public in challenging situations, using tact, diplomacy, and clear communication
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
