Home School Liaison Officer - 35 hours a week - 1 year Contract - Longsight Area

PLEASE NOTE: You must have an Enhanced DBS for this role, if you do not have one you will asked to pay for one before starting any work with us.


  • Experience working within Student Support Services preferably in a SEND/SEMH or non-mainstream environment
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Able to manage multiple complex priorities under pressure
  • Able to build and maintain good relationships with pupils, parents and carers, staff, schools and educational and safeguarding professionals
  • Able to manage their own time and work to deadlines
  • Experience of handling sensitive and confidential material and working towards GDPR/ Safeguarding protocols
  • have a thorough understanding of safeguarding and its application and implementation
  • have good ICT skills (Familiarity with MS Office is essential. Knowledge of SIMS and CPOMS is desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
