Are you an experienced Food Technology Teacher ready to take the next step into leadership? Spencer Clarke Group is working with a secondary school in Stockport to recruit an ambitious and passionate Head of Department for Food Technology.
Your Role
As Head of Department, you will lead and develop the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4, driving high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. You will be responsible for curriculum development, staff support, student progress, and the overall success of the department.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
- Previous leadership experience or aspirations to move into middle leadership
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
- Ability to raise attainment and inspire students and staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
