Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Governance and Corporate Affairs Officer to work within the NHS in Coventry!

Contract – 12 months initial contract with the view to being extended to an ongoing basis

Salary - £24.00+ per hour – negotiable dependent on experience

1 day per week in the office 

About the role:

· Support the Governance and Corporate Affairs Manager to deliver the Governance and Assurance framework for the ICB, ensuring that robust processes are developed and followed.

· Manage the operational process for updating the risk registers for the ICB, preparing summary documents as necessary for various meetings as required and support with System Risk Development.

· Ensure that the most up to date policies are communicated to staff along with their responsibilities to understand the policies, and to ensure they are available on via the ICB intranet.

· Be the operational lead for managing conflicts of interest, including maintaining registers of interest, hospitality, gifts and sponsorship, procurement decisions and contracts and producing relevant reports.

· Lead on specific projects relating to Governance within the ICB; ensuring that they are delivered on time and within agreed costs and parameters.

About You:

· Previous experience of working in a Governance role within a public sector organisation

· Ability to plan and manage a variety of tasks and projects ensuring delivery to time and budget

· Ability to take accurate and detailed minutes of complex meetings.

· Understanding of Corporate Risk management processes
