Location - Local Authority on the Southcoast

Salary: £250 per day      

Contract: Initial 3–6-month contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.

Schedule – 5 days per week

Fully remote working

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced EHC Plan Writer for an interim contract with our client, a local authority on the Southcoast.

As an EHC Plan Writer you will be expected to draft high quality educational health & care plans for the local authority. The role does not involve Casework.

Due to the nature of this role, we can only progress applications from individuals who have written Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs) for a local authority SEND Team previously.

Duties will include:

• Draft Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans that accurately reflect the identified needs, desired outcomes, and provision required to support the child or young person's education, health, and social care needs.
• Ensure EHC Plans are written in clear, accessible language, tailored to the child or young person's age, understanding, and communication needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHC assessments, plans, and reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and data protection regulations.
