Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Department for Design and Technology to join a high school in September 24. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Design and Technology department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of the Design and Technology department.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective curriculum that meet national standards and cater to the needs of students.
  • Oversee the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-quality lessons in Design and Technology.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in student outcomes through effective teaching and assessment practices.
  • Manage departmental resources, including budgets and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Extensive teaching experience in Design and Technology.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in woodwork and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
