We are working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 4 Dental Nurse to join their service based at a local Hospital in Reading.
Location: A Hospital in Reading.
Rate of pay: £15p/h Umbrella
Working Hours: Ad hoc shifts - full/part time
Key responsibilities:
- Support dentists and dental specialists during patient examinations and treatments, including handing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists, ensuring patients are comfortable and relaxed during procedures. Offer reassurance and support to anxious or nervous patients.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilising instruments, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring the cleanliness of the dental surgery.
