Dental Nurse

A NHS Trust we are currently working with are seeking a Dental Nurse to support their team in Preston.

Rate of pay: £15p/h Umbrella

Working Hours: Flexible days/evenings/weekends

Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Location: Preston

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgery and all clinical apparatus for clinical activity.
• Check Service User’s details and advises clinician of any circumstances relevant to treatment.
• Ensure that all appropriate clinical notes, consent forms, pre and post-operative instructions, dental materials, radiographs and laboratory work are available at the start of the session.
• Arranges appropriate instruments, medicaments and materials for clinical use. This requires handling of fine, specialised instruments and manipulation and transfer of these instruments throughout all procedures.

To be eligible for consideration, you must be a Dental Nurse registered with the GDC.
