Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with Section 12 approval to join our client in their male inpatient hospital in Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients in need.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of patients admitted to the male inpatient unit.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert psychiatric care and treatment to patients with a range of mental health disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
- Participate in clinical reviews, case conferences, and team meetings to discuss patient care and management strategies.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff and trainees as necessary.
Requirements:
- GMC registration and eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry.
- Section 12 approval is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting, preferably with male patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex clinical situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the service.
