Consultant Psychiatrist - Community Memory Assessment Service

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team and contribute to our Community Memory Assessment Service. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in conducting thorough memory assessments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing expert guidance and support to individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive memory assessments utilising standardised tools and methodologies.
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to analyse assessment findings and develop tailored care plans.
- Offering education and guidance to individuals and families regarding memory-related issues, treatment options, and available support services.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations.
- Participating actively in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications (MRCPsych or equivalent).
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry.
- Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment and management, particularly in memory-related disorders.
- Proficiency in conducting memory assessments and interpreting results.
