An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a manufacturing company based in the idyllic Yorkshire Dales on a permanent basis. 

As Finance Business Partner you'll play a vital role in providing insight and analysis into business & manufacturing costs across the sites.

You'll be someone naturally great with costs & analysis because the role includes providing in depth financials but the key to success is great communication as you will be partnering with internal stakeholders across the business.

About the role

Based in the office between 2 main sites you will be responsible for: 

  • Provide insight and analysis into cost structure and make recommendations to improve overall cost effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the accurate reporting of the weekly / monthly management accounts incorporating as much analysis and narrative as to bring the accounts to life
  • Continually review financial processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient production of reporting requirements.

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA with management accountancy experience in a manufacturing environment. Or minimum 5 years' experience within a similar role (qualified by experience)
  • Experience of preparing periodic management accounts in a standard costing system with strong analytical and costing skills.
  • Dynamic, pro-active and self-motivated the role requires individuals to operate in a complex and fast-moving environment.
