Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Youth Justice Service Senior Practitioner for a local authority client in North London.

In this role, you will lead on court and group work initiatives, manage a small complex caseload, and drive effective, child-focused interventions that support young people to move away from offending behaviour.

Key Duties:

  • Lead on court processes and group work initiatives within the Youth Justice Service.
  • Manage a small caseload of complex, high-risk cases post-court.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and quality assurance to support team performance.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to deliver trauma-informed, restorative interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Proven experience working within a Youth Justice or related statutory service.
  • Strong background in managing complex cases involving high-risk young people.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to court work and multi-agency forums.
  • Familiarity with restorative justice, trauma-informed practice, and systemic approaches.

What's on offer:

Salary: £25ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
