Spencer Clarke Group is recruiting for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in Blackburn.
This temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within education while making a real difference to children's learning and development. For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Previous experience in a school is not essential. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to support children in their education.

The Role

Working alongside teachers and other support staff, you'll help pupils thrive in the classroom by providing academic, social, and emotional support. Every day is different, making this a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with young people.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
• 
  Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• 
  Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in learning.
• 
  Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
• 
  Prepare classroom resources and assist with daily classroom routines.
• 
  Work collaboratively with school staff to meet the needs of all pupils.
