Unqualified Teaching Assistant Role
Salary: £13.51-£14.45 per hour + £1000 welcome bonus
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Term Time Only
A specialist SEND school in Surrey is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11-16 with Autism and related social, emotional, and sensory needs. The school offers small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios, and a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

- Help students overcome barriers and achieve their potential
- Encourage resilience, independence, and positive behaviour
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support learning both in and outside the classroom
Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths & English (minimum Level 2)
- Positive, proactive, and creative approach
- Ability to motivate and inspire young people
- Willingness to undertake training if needed
- Experience not essential - full training provided for the right candidates
