A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Lecturer in Uniformed Protective Services to join a forward-thinking Further Education provider.

The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of levels within the Uniformed Protective Services curriculum. This includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, supporting learners pastorally and academically, and playing an active role in curriculum development.

As a Course or Group Tutor, you'll also contribute to the wider student experience, offering guidance and support to help every learner reach their potential.

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and literacy skills (Level 2 minimum)
  • A degree in a relevant subject
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
  • Industry experience in a related Uniformed Public Services field
  • Excellent organisation, IT and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their progression


Desirable:

  • Prior teaching or training experience
  • Knowledge of the FE sector
  • Experience using technology and digital tools in teaching
