Tutors Wanted in Liverpool | 1:1 Alternative Provision & Outreach Tutors | Spencer Clarke Group


Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate tutors across Liverpool to support children and young people outside of mainstream education through local authority and school-funded tuition programmes.
This rewarding role involves delivering 1:1 educational support to pupils in their homes or community settings such as libraries and learning centres.

Tutor Roles Available


We are looking for tutors specialising in:


  • Maths

  • English

  • Science

  • Functional Skills

  • GCSE & KS3 Support

  • Primary Tuition

  • SEN Support

  • SEMH & Behaviour Support

  • Alternative Provision Education

About the Role


Tutors will work with pupils who may be:


  • Unable to attend mainstream school

  • Awaiting specialist placements

  • Experiencing anxiety or emotionally based school avoidance

  • Excluded from school

  • Requiring additional educational support

  • Receiving EHCP-funded provision


Sessions are delivered on a 1:1 basis and tailored to each learner's individual needs, academic level, and confidence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
