Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role, you will manage temporary accommodation placements and support households to move on quickly into settled housing.
Duties:
- Manage and allocate a range of temporary accommodation placements efficiently.
- Work with households to assess needs and support timely move-on from temporary accommodation.
- Liaise with and monitor accommodation providers to ensure standards and compliance.
- Respond to complaints, emergencies, and tenancy or anti-social behaviour issues promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven experience working in homelessness services, specifically temporary accommodation management.
- Experience managing and allocating a range of temporary accommodation types.
- Experience working directly with vulnerable households and managing casework.
- Experience liaising with landlords, managing agents, and accommodation providers.
What's on offer:
Salary: £28+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
