Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Team Manager - Homelessness Prevention for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role you will lead a team delivering homelessness prevention casework, ensuring decisions are lawful, high-quality, and focused on improving outcomes for residents.
Duties:
- Lead and support a team delivering homelessness prevention and relief casework
- Quality assure assessments, decisions and Personal Housing Plans for legal compliance and quality
- Manage complex, high-risk cases and provide escalation support for safeguarding and multi-agency work
- Monitor performance, caseloads and service delivery to ensure timely, effective outcomes for residents
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience delivering or overseeing statutory homelessness or housing needs casework
- Experience making or quality-assuring lawful, defensible housing decisions
- Experience managing complex cases involving safeguarding, vulnerability or multi-agency support
- Experience supervising, supporting or developing staff in a busy operational environment
What's on offer:
Salary: £35+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
