Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for a Local Authority Client in Southwest London.
In this role, you will manage and allocate temporary accommodation, supporting homeless households and working with providers to ensure effective placements and timely move-on.
Duties:
- Manage and allocate a range of temporary accommodation placements.
- Provide proactive casework support to residents to enable timely move-on.
- Liaise with and monitor temporary accommodation providers and landlords.
- Respond to tenancy issues, complaints, emergencies, and anti-social behaviour.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven experience working in homelessness, specifically Temporary Accommodation management.
- Experience allocating and managing emergency, leased, and short-term accommodation.
- Casework experience supporting vulnerable households, including families with children.
- Experience working with accommodation providers, landlords, and managing agents.
What's on offer:
Salary: £28ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
