Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to work within schools across Darwen.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress, and adapting your teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will contribute to raising standards and ensuring the best possible outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Creating a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress.
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning culture.
Providing constructive feedback to support pupil development and attainment.
Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff.
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Participating in staff meetings, training, parents' evenings, and school events.
Upholding safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching within UK schools is desirable.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
A commitment to delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil achievement.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Spencer Clarke Group.
Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
