Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in the Manchester area.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with Autism (ASC) and a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons to small classes of students with SEND.
- Adapt learning to meet individual needs and EHCP targets.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Passion for supporting students with additional needs.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to provide professional references covering the last two years.
