Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to work within schools across Walton-le-Dale.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupil progress and achievement. You will create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and attainment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• 
  Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
• 
  Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress.
• 
  Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.
• 
  Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive learning attitudes.
• 
  Providing constructive feedback to support pupil development and attainment.
• 
  Working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff to support learning outcomes.
• 
  Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• 
  Attending staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.
• 
  Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

Requirements

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• 
  Experience teaching within UK primary or secondary schools.
• 
  Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners effectively.
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 
  A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• 
  A commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil achievement.
• 
  An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Spencer Clarke Group.
• 
  Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
