Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to work within schools across Leyland.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to further develop their teaching career within a supportive school environment.
About the Role
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, assess pupil progress, and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education and support.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Creating a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress.
Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.
Providing constructive feedback to pupils to support their development.
Working closely with teaching assistants and other support staff.
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Upholding safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within UK schools is essential.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and supporting pupil achievement.
The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet a range of learning needs.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Spencer Clarke Group.
Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
