Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to work within schools across Chorley.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality teaching. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role


As a Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that support pupils in achieving their academic potential. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are supported, challenged, and encouraged to succeed.
Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents, you will contribute to the wider school community while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities


  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and engagement.

  • Assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes towards learning.

  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to pupils.

  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupil achievement.

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Attending staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and school events as required.

  • Upholding safeguarding policies and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

Requirements


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Previous teaching experience within UK schools is desirable.

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment processes.

  • A passion for education and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Spencer Clarke Group.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
