Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive mainstream secondary school in West Lancashire to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a long term temporary position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a well established Design & Technology department and inspire students through engaging and creative Food Technology lessons.

The Role

  • Deliver Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor and support student progress and attainment
  • Work collaboratively with the wider DT department and school staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and motivating young people
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
