We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Rotherham to appoint an experienced Senior HR Consultant to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team for an exciting project!

About the Role:
As a Senior HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a significant project within Provider Services. This project aims to implement a Future Operating Model to drive positive change and efficiency. You will be the designated HR professional guiding and supporting this change program.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level specialist HR advice and operational support to managers and employees.
• Ensure adherence to council policies and procedures while undertaking projects to deliver workforce solutions.
• Supervise HR Consultants in managing the full employee lifecycle and change management processes.
• Develop strong working relationships with managers, employees, and trade union representatives.
• Lead the development and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
• Manage and deliver HR-related learning and development events to enhance organisational capability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HR consultancy, preferably within a public sector or similar setting.
