Senior Childrens Occupational Therapist
Full time locum contract
£36.56p/h Umbrella
Located in Sutton
Our Local Authority Client are recruiting a Senior Childrens Occupational Therapist to support their service for a locum contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex and varied caseload of major equipment and adaptation cases for disabled children and young people, including assessment, evaluation, reporting, and recommendations.
- Provide expert advice and support to internal colleagues and multi-agency professionals on disability-related matters.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with statutory agencies, housing providers, councils, health services, and the voluntary/private sectors to ensure coordinated service delivery.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and information systems to support service planning, auditing, and compliance with policy and financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-qualification experience in paediatric occupational therapy, including work with children and young people with disabilities and complex needs.
- Proven ability to assess, recommend, and manage major equipment and housing adaptations for disabled children and young people.
