SEND Transformation Lead
£526 per day
3 month initial contract
Hybrid working - 2 days per week in office - London
On behalf of our Local Authority client in London, Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Transformation Lead to take responsibility for driving meaningful change across SEND services and enhancing the performance of the restructured Statutory SEND Teams.
The SEND Transformation Lead will ensure that SEND services are improved in terms of quality, consistency, and outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working within Local Authority SEND, with a strong understanding of statutory SEND processes.
- Excellent leadership skills and change management expertise.
- Proven experience in leading and supporting service restructures, including implementing new processes and procedures.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Lead and facilitate the implementation of the restructured Statutory SEND Teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities and workflows are clearly established.
- Embed strong EHCP quality assurance processes to improve efficiency and quality in decision-making.
- Provide change management support and promote collaborative working across SEND services.
- Review, amend and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies and guidance relating to Statutory SEND functions.
Skills required:
- Able to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in analysing complex data to strengthen accountability and drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice and the Children and Families Act 2014.
