SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a SEN school in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will have proven experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties, and will be confident in adapting to individual learning styles. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach is essential, along with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people. Responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting with behaviour management, implementing individual education plans, and promoting independence and confidence among students.
