SEND Systems Manager
£500 per day
3 month initial contract
Hybrid working - 1 day per week in office - East Midlands
Spencer Clarke Group are looking for an experienced SEND Systems Manager to support an East Midlands Local Authority in the system-wide coordination, accountability, and strategic oversight of SEND transformation workstreams.
The SEND Systems Manager will play a key role in driving a whole-system approach to SEND transformation, providing assurance that change programmes are delivered effectively, risks are proactively managed, and outcomes are improved for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience of working with local authorities and SEND.
- Strong understanding of governance, performance management, and risk management frameworks.
- Proven experience of driving and coordinating transformation or improvement programmes across multiple workstreams.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Review current transformation activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support sustainable progress.
- Drive delivery across multiple SEND transformation workstreams, ensuring initiatives are implemented effectively.
- Proactively identify, track, and manage risks across the SEND system using a comprehensive risk register.
Skills required:
- Able to successfully lead and manage a team, providing continuous support and advice across all areas of project delivery.
- Commitment to a whole-system, collaborative approach and improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
- Capable of building effective relationships with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
