SEND Service Manager - West London Local Authority
12 month contract
£500 per day
Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week onsite
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Service manager to join our Local Authority client in the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SEND manager to provide continuous improvement to an established local authority SEND team and strive towards positive outcomes for children and young people .
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role within a Local Authority
- Strong and up to date knowledge of SEND legislation, Ofsted and CQC
- Must be able to attend the office 1-2 days per week
Duties include:
- Provide management and oversight of all operational duties within the service including, phase transfers, EHC needs assessments and annual reviews.
- Implement new strategies or training for staff and key stakeholders relating to SEND statutory process and requirements promoting the continuous drive for improvement
- Promote Quality Assurance and lead on multi-agency audits of EHCP's and Annual reviews
