Teaching Assistant - SEN School
Location: Lancaster
Full-time | Term-time only
Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a vibrant SEN school.

The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN.
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Help with personal care and mobility when required.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and staff.

About You:
We're looking for someone who is:

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experienced in supporting children with SEN within a classroom setting.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic classroom setting.
  • Level 2/3 TA qualification or equivalent
