An inclusive and supportive SEN school in Ribchester is looking to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting this September. The position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with a variety of additional needs.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with students who may have autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or sensory and physical needs. Your role will involve providing 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to access learning and develop essential life skills in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of tailored learning activities

  • Assist pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Help implement and monitor individual education and behaviour plans

  • Support personal care needs when required (training provided)

  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom setting

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome applicants with previous or personal experience working with SEN, including:

  • Care Workers

  • Teaching Assistants

  • Individuals with personal experience supporting someone with additional needs

You should be:
