We are working with a welcoming and supportive school that is seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join their team for the new academic year.
About the Role:
- Full-time SEN teaching role starting September 2025
- Long-term position with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate
- Teaching a small class of pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Working collaboratively with a strong team of teaching assistants and SEN specialists
- Delivering tailored lessons in line with EHCPs and individual learning plans
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with pupils with special educational needs
- A strong understanding of a range of SEN including ASD, MLD, and SEMH
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude
- A commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential
