Spencer Clarke Group is currently working with secondary schools across Bamber Bridge and the surrounding areas to recruit Secondary School Teaching Assistants for a range of flexible opportunities.
We are looking for reliable and adaptable individuals who can support secondary schools on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates, youth workers or individuals looking to gain further experience within education.
The Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
- Help maintain a positive and focused learning environment
- Support students with varying learning needs and abilities
- Assist with classroom preparation and general school duties
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and proactive approach
- Confidence working within secondary school environments
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
Access to your own vehicle is an advantage due to the variety of school locations, although it is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
