Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools
Location: Fulwood and surrounding areas of Preston

About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Fulwood and the wider Preston area to recruit reliable and confident Cover Supervisors.
This is a flexible opportunity, offering ad hoc, part-time, and full-time work depending on school needs. It is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, those considering a career in teaching, or experienced cover staff seeking varied placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing support to students where required
- Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work or similar)
- Strong classroom management skills or confidence leading groups
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
