My client in Merseyside is looking to appoint a talented School Administrator on a Temporary basis.

We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated School Administrator to oversee the efficient operation of our educational institution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive learning environment for students and staff.

About the role:

Based in Sefton, Merseyside:

Administrative Management:

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.

Communication:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information.
  • Facilitate effective communication between teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Disseminate important information through newsletters, emails, and other communication channels.

Human Resources:

  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Maintain personnel records and ensure adherence to employment policies.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage school finances, including invoicing, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to secure funding and grants.

Student Services:

  • Oversee student enrollment and registration processes.
  • Coordinate student activities, events, and clubs.
  • Address student concerns and provide support as needed.

Facilities Management:

  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of school facilities.
  • Coordinate repairs and renovations as necessary.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of school supplies.

Policy Development:

  • Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes in educational regulations and adapt policies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and regulations.

  • Salary: From £13.50 per hour
