My client in Merseyside is looking to appoint a talented School Administrator on a Temporary basis.
We are seeking a highly organised and dedicated School Administrator to oversee the efficient operation of our educational institution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive learning environment for students and staff.
About the role:
Based in Sefton, Merseyside:
Administrative Management:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and conferences.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information.
- Facilitate effective communication between teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Disseminate important information through newsletters, emails, and other communication channels.
Human Resources:
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
- Maintain personnel records and ensure adherence to employment policies.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Monitor and manage school finances, including invoicing, budget tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to secure funding and grants.
Student Services:
- Oversee student enrollment and registration processes.
- Coordinate student activities, events, and clubs.
- Address student concerns and provide support as needed.
Facilities Management:
- Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of school facilities.
- Coordinate repairs and renovations as necessary.
- Manage inventory and procurement of school supplies.
Policy Development:
- Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about changes in educational regulations and adapt policies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Familiarity with educational policies and regulations.
