Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Revenues Technical Manager for a Local Authority Client in Surrey.
In this role you will manage Council Tax and Business Rates services, lead a high-performing team, and drive improvements in billing, collection, and recovery performance.
Duties:
- Oversee Council Tax and Business Rates billing, collection, and recovery
- Manage complex technical cases, including business rates avoidance
- Lead service improvement and transformation initiatives
- Deputise for senior management and complete statutory returns
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience in Council Tax and Business Rates administration and recovery
- Proven track record in a revenues management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Experience using revenues systems and managing complex customer issues
What's on offer:
Salary: £350 per day
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
