Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Rent Income Recovery Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.
In this role, you will manage and recover former tenant arrears, court costs and property-related recharges, maximising income through effective tracing and recovery.
Duties:
- Manage and recover former tenant arrears, court costs and recharges.
- Trace former tenants and negotiate repayment arrangements.
- Monitor performance and produce regular recovery reports.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies to maximise recovery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years' recent experience in social housing.
- Proven experience in Former Tenant Arrears (FTA) recovery.
- Experience tracing former tenants and negotiating repayment arrangements.
- Experience using housing management systems and managing a caseload independently.
What's on offer:
Salary: £22ph+
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
