Responsibilities
As a Recruitment Compliance Officer for our Public Sector team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all candidates placed into work meet the necessary compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Right to Work Checks: Conducting comprehensive right to work checks for all candidates to ensure they have the legal authorisation to work in the country.
- Candidate Vetting: Verifying and evaluating candidate references to ensure their suitability for the positions they are being considered for.
- DBS Checks: Managing the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process, ensuring all candidates have undergone the necessary background checks.
- Policy Adherence: Ensuring that all recruitment processes align with relevant regulations, safeguarding policies, and compliance standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance checks, making sure they are readily accessible for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all compliance-related matters.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Additional information:
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 8 - 4:30pm or 8:30 - 5pm
- Early finish Friday and dress down day
