Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Project Liaison Officer for a local authority client in North London.
In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between residents and the Council, managing communications, addressing inquiries, and ensuring the smooth delivery of major works projects.
Key Duties:
- Act as the primary liaison between residents and the Council, managing communications and addressing inquiries throughout major works projects.
- Oversee the development and distribution of project materials (leaflets, newsletters, etc.) and handle complaints and petitions
- Coordinate with internal teams, Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs), and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Organise residents' meetings, conduct satisfaction surveys, and ensure legal action is taken when necessary for project-related issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience in managing communications and liaising with residents or the public, ideally in a project-based environment.
- Knowledge of handling complaints, petitions, and managing resident consultations for major works projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including contractors, housing officers, and community organizations.
- Ability to organize and facilitate meetings, surveys, and legal processes related to project delivery.
What's on offer:
Salary: £23ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
