Personal Advisor

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Personal Advisor for a local authority client in East London.

In this role, you will support care leavers aged 18-25 to build independent, fulfilling lives by developing and delivering personalised plans that promote their wellbeing, education, employment, and housing stability.

Duties:

• Build trusted relationships with care leavers, offering guidance and practical help to support their transition to independent living.
• Develop, review, and coordinate personalised Pathway Plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Collaborate with professionals across services to ensure care leavers have access to housing, education, training, and employment.
• Regularly assess wellbeing, address risks, and maintain accurate records to promote safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

• Proven experience supporting children, young people, or families in a professional setting.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and delivering personalised support or care plans.
• Skilled in working with a range of professionals and services to achieve positive outcomes.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and assessing risk in vulnerable young people's lives.

What's on offer:

Salary: £25ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
