Locum Occupational Therapist - Prevention and Early Intervention Service.

Location: Community-based across Cambridgeshire (St Ives, Huntingdon, March, Ely, Cambridge)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:30)
Contract: Locum Contract
Rate: £39.53 per hour (umbrella)
Flexible hybrid working | County-wide travel required

Our local authority client in Cambridgeshire are recruiting an experienced locum Occupational Therapist to support their Prevention and Early Intervention Service.

Key responsibilities:

You'll be working at the forefront of adult social care, helping to reduce and delay the need for long-term support. Your work will involve:

• Assessing service users currently receiving double-handed care.
• Identifying opportunities to optimise support through equipment, training, or single-handed care models.
• Collaborating with care staff and health partners to facilitate improved outcomes.
• Preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and promoting independence.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in moving & handling assessments and optimising care packages
• Access to your own vehicle for travel across the county.
