Occupational Health Nurse Advisor *REMOTE*
Hours: 2-3 days per week (Approx. 21 hours)
Pay: £32.51 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary contract initially, with the view to extend to an ongoing basis
Location: Remote (Must be able to attend an in-person induction)
Our local authority client in the North West are recruiting an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor to join their team on a remote basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct management referrals including initial consultations, assessment, and detailed follow-up reports.
- Provide clinical advice and guidance on employee health matters including fitness for work, return-to-work plans, and workplace adjustments.
- Liaise with HR and line managers to deliver timely and comprehensive reports supporting workforce decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health policies, clinical governance, and confidentiality standards.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC registration required).
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma).
- Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in Occupational Health roles.
- Strong experience in management referrals is essential.
- EOPAS system experience is highly desirable.
