About the Role:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the development and learning of young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Support individual and group learning activities, ensuring all children are included and supported.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to children with special educational needs (SEN), fostering their holistic development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative learning environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, tidy, and inclusive learning environment at all times.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
