Music Teacher - Secondary School - Colne

Spencer Clarke Group is working with a welcoming secondary school in Colne to appoint a Music Teacher for a maternity cover starting in January 2026 and continuing until February 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who can inspire creativity and foster a love of music among students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Encourage students to explore music through performance, composition, and listening.
Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as concerts, ensembles, and school productions.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Music at secondary level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
