An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Accountant to join a Local Authority in Bradford on an interim basis.
As Technical Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting with full year end.
If you have experience working within Local Government/Councils within a Finance role which we’re looking for, this exciting role could be the next step in your career and we’d love to hear from you!
About the role
Based in Bradford, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the lead financial accountant on year-end accounts production;
- Liaise with auditors to answer queries on year-end audit;
- Liaise with a range of stakeholders to obtain evidence and assurance for key accounting adjustments;
- Assist with month-end management accounts processes and adjustments;
About you
The ideal candidate for this position must have:
- Experience working within a similar Accountant/Assistant Accountant position
- Part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Experience working within the public sector
What’s on offer
- Salary: £400-600 Per day
- Contract type: Interim 3-6 months
- Hours: Monday – Friday
